How to Remove Nail Gels

Gel nails look nice, but they can cause damage to your real nails, making them weak, and occasionally causing pain. If your gel nails are causing problems, you do not have to pay a nail technician to remove them. Using a few items, you can remove the nails safely yourself.
Instructions
1 Clip off the tips of the nails with the nail clipper.
2 File all of your nails down to remove the top-layer of polish.
3 Soak a piece of cotton in acetone.
4 Place the cotton ball on one of your finger tips and wrap a piece of foil around it to hold it in place. Do this for the rest of your finger nails.
5 Wait 10 minutes, and then remove the foil and cotton.
6 Remove the gel from your fingers with the nail scraper. They should be easy to remove after soaking them.
7 Wash your hands thoroughly and wipe them clean.
8 Buff your nails with the buffer to smooth them out.
9 Apply the nail strengthener to your fingernails.
10 Apply the cuticle oil or cream to your cuticles.
